Chelsea ended their 2022 Premier League campaign on a positive note with a 2-0 victory over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening. The Blues took the lead in the first half through Kai Havertz, who headed home from close range following a cross from Reece James. Mason Mount added a second goal in the second half, coolly slotting home after being played through by Hakim Ziyech.

The win was Chelsea's first in the Premier League since October, and it lifted them up to eighth in the table. Bournemouth, meanwhile, remain in 14th place.
