Mount Sinai and Mount Horeb in Saudi Arabia

Discover the Potential Location of the Ten Commandments

Exclusive Archaeological Findings

In a groundbreaking discovery, archaeological evidence suggests that the real Mount Sinai, where Moses is believed to have received the Ten Commandments, may not be in Egypt as previously thought but in Saudi Arabia. Researchers have identified Jabal Maqla, known locally as the "Burned Mountain" due to its distinctive black peak, as the potential location of the biblical site.

Moreover, the discovery of Mount Horeb, where Moses is said to have encountered the burning bush, has also been made in Saudi Arabia. Located close to Jabal Maqla, the archaeological team believes this site aligns with the biblical description.

Over three decades of archaeological excavations at Har Karkoma in southern Saudi Arabia have contributed to these findings. The absence of relevant archaeological evidence at the traditionally accepted Mount Sinai in Egypt has further strengthened the team's arguments.

The identification of Mount Horeb in the biblical text has long been a subject of debate among scholars. The researchers' findings, based on extensive archaeological work and contextual evidence, offer a compelling theory that challenges previous assumptions.
