Cruise Ship Catches Fire While Docked in Grand Turk

A Carnival cruise ship that departed from Port Canaveral, Florida, caught fire on Saturday afternoon while it was docked in Grand Turk, a Caribbean island.

The fire broke out in the ship's engine room at around 3:00 p.m. local time. The crew was able to quickly extinguish the fire, but not before it caused significant damage to the engine room.

There were no injuries reported in the fire. All of the passengers and crew were safely evacuated from the ship.
