The Supercharger network is one of the largest and most reliable networks of fast-charging stations in the world, with over 30,000 stations in 35 countries. This compatibility will give Rivian owners access to a wider range of charging options, making it easier and more convenient to travel long distances.
Rivian vehicles are equipped with a CCS Combo 1 charging port, which is compatible with the Supercharger network. However, Rivian owners will need to purchase an adapter in order to use the Supercharger network. The adapter is available for purchase from Rivian for $250.
