Schalke Dominates from Start to Finish
FC Schalke 04 put on a dominant performance at the VELTINS-Arena on Saturday, crushing Eintracht Braunschweig 5-1 in a match that saw Moussa Sylla and Kenan Karaman each score twice.
Schalke took control of the match from the outset, with Sylla opening the scoring in just the 15th minute. Karaman doubled the lead shortly before halftime, giving Schalke a comfortable advantage heading into the break.
In the second half, Schalke continued to pour on the pressure, with Sylla adding his second goal in the 55th minute. Karaman completed his brace 15 minutes later, making it 4-0 to the home side.
Eintracht Braunschweig managed to pull one back through a Florian Pick consolation goal in the 80th minute, but Schalke had the final say when Simon Terodde made it 5-1 in the dying moments of the match.
The victory moves Schalke up to fourth in the Bundesliga standings, while Eintracht Braunschweig remains in the relegation zone.
