Early Life and Career

Blas Pérez, born in 1981, began his soccer career in his native Panama, playing for local club Deportivo Alianza. Later, he joined Colombian club Deportivo Cali, where he made a name for himself as a prolific scorer.

International Career

Perez made his international debut for Panama in 2001. He represented his country in 113 matches, scoring 43 goals, making him Panama's all-time leading scorer. He played a pivotal role in Panama's historic qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, their first-ever participation in the tournament.

Club Career

Perez played for several clubs throughout his career, including Pachuca in Mexico, Hércules in Spain, and Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS. He enjoyed success at Pachuca, winning the CONCACAF Champions League in 2010.
